My friend and I recorded one of my songs "Nowhere" a couple of nights ago.  It might freak some of you out since it's almost choral music!  No, check it out www.madmetalmage.com in the podcast section, or simply go to http://www.myspace.com/madmetalmagemusic or http://www.facebook.com/pages/m-Mad-Metal-Mage-m/10764875925 .  I just wanted to know what you think about this--maybe other musicians write in different styles too.  I still tried to make it metal though--I dunno--check it.  Thanks for your time.

Wow, I really like the stuff on your Facebook page! Melody of Dismay is rockin', and your voice suits it well. Keep it up! Cheesy

Ah, I see - I didn't realize that was a new track at first because it starts out the same as the older version.  But yeah, I like it!  Very eerie sounding, and it works well without much percussion.

Thanks for listening!  Smiley  I fixed the piano part now.  My goal is to continue recording more music this summer, even though I have two summer classes.

So.

I play in a metal band and I really love metal but I play very classic rock inspired solos. What kind of scales should I try for metal soloing???

Thanks
