Dark Funeral is just sooo evil as far as their act goes that they MUST prove themselves in a fight!

You guys may very well be on to something! Let's put it together, it opens all sorts of interesting possibilities. Talking with Tanhald about this right now...

Incidentally, I am listening to To Die For, and THAT is the #1 band for turning chicks into metal Smiley

Here's what I do - I ban the domain portion of the email address they register with if it looks suspicious enough and/or it has been used before for similar attempts.  And of course don't forget to delete the "member" himself! Just look in the "View/Delete members", and then in "Ban members".

DC++ (http://dcpp.net/) or any other filesharing network is your best bet for full albums, or just the bands' own sites if you just want to sample songs, although some of them let you download whole albums too.

Hi Pheno, well, believe it or not, but many people in the so-called civilized countries have it the same way - some live too far from major metropolitan areas to catch their favorite band on tour or find any decent cd's at the local stores. At least, I hear complaints like that all the time. I really don't think it matters that much these days; you have internet access, and after all, that's where many of us get information. I can't be the judge though, cause I don't go to shows and have no desire to do so anyway.

Hi Yann, and welcome! Post away right here, this is the right place. Or, you can send a personal message to whoever you have a question for. I am a webmaster myself, so if you have web-related questions, I will gladly answer them. Cheers!

Hi Lexxy, and welcome to the board!

Yeah, of course we've heard them, here's what we've got on them: http://www.harm.us/bandlist/showband.cfm?bandID=469 with a couple reviews by the guys here.
15  Heavy Metal / Metal Discussion / Re: Compression and Metal Production on: April 18, 2006, 10:05:41 am
Well, you've got to realize it's become the norm.. they taught us to listen critically to those vintage records to appreciate the dynamic range, but you know.. like the Vehemence engineer (who ironically works as an instructor at the very same school) told me "dude, it's metal, of course I am gonna compress the hell out of it"... Of course there is compression and there is compression. If you use good tube gear it still sounds good even at the highest setting and if you simply squash it in one of those plugins you've downloaded illegally it's probably going to sound like crap. In either case, I wouldn't do too much and leave it to the mastering engineer.
